How was your first week with your level 1?
My French level 1
learned the following words with the corresponding actions (gestures)
1. marche - walks
2. dance- dances
3. se lève- stands up
4. assied- sits down
5. rapidment- quickly
6. lentement- slowly
7. le garçon- boy

8. la fille- girl
9. cherche- looks for
10. très- very
11. oui/non -yes/no
12. beau/belle- pretty
13. il y a - there is
14. trouve -finds
15. aime- likes
16. veut- wants

days of the week

 I didn't introduce these words all at once. I introduce three or four per day

2nd week 

1. Vocabulary review -I say it in French students say it in English
2. Students do gestures with closed eyes.
3. Reviewed days of the week and numbers 1-10
4. Students used drawings from last week to retell story to a partner

5. I then asked the story and class answered questions
6. I told students (in French) to get out a piece of paper and fold it in half. then use one half to write the numbers 1-6
Then I said these phrases in French for students to draw what I  said 
Repeat each phrase twice
1. there is a  handsome boy. He is hungry
2. He wants chocolate ice scream
3. He finds a pretty girl.
4. The girls has a burger with cheese.
5. The girl likes the boy
6. She gives him the burger. He is happy
Tomorrow students will use those pictures to retell the story to a partner. then they will write in French and English
